Our History

Roy Palacios, Founder and Owner

Roy Palacios Insurance Agency (RPI) opened its doors in 1991 as a Farmers Insurance Agency for the last couple of decades with a focus on personal lines and life insurance products and experienced immediate success. We are proud to be a Farmers Insurance agency because we believe the company is customer-focused and will adapt to the changing needs of the clients we serve.

In 1993, RPI launched its commercial division together with state-of-the-art operational systems to ensure optimum process efficiency. In the same year, we also created and implemented a marketing plan with a specific emphasis on Homeowners Association (HOA) habitational products. The plan included free educational services to enhance current and prospective clients’ knowledge of the products we offered and how they can be of benefit to their organizations.

Because of our high standards and performance excellence, we have been recognized as a Farmers Insurance Elite Commercial Agency for the past 15 years. In the end, it's not about us - it's about our clients and their insurance needs. Our goal is to always strive to provide the best service and surpass our client’s expectations.

We understand the urgency of insurance requests and quotes are processed as soon as possible, as a priority.
We maintain licensed staff onsite to answer questions and solve problems to ensure same-day resolution of any issue.
Our management team is available to attend association board meetings and provide training and education to property managers so that they remain on the cutting edge of industry trends.
We also understand the devastating effect of a lapse in insurance and have established a renewal process that begins with ample time before the expiration of clients' policies. We meet with each client prior to renewal to document all changes.
We deliver all renewal documents to our clients in advance of the renewal date, as promptly as possible.
We stay informed of all new state-specific Civil Codes and review each association’s legal documents to offer our customers up-to-date developments and to ensure complete compliance.
We work directly with the underwriting department of Farmers Insurance to make sure that our clients receive all applicable and personalized discounts available to them.
We maintain a proprietary database to track the phasing schedule of all policies.
We issue all "Evidences of Insurance" directly from our corporate office.
We send personalized communications to all new and refinanced condominium owners advising them of the association's coverage and Condominium Unit Owners' coverage.
